Participants’ Guide

1. Important Notice
  1.1 As there will be road closure along the route during 7am to 11am on the event day, no traffic are allowed heading to or leaving from the start / finish point during this specific period of time (except the vehicle approved by the organizer). Once the vehicle entered the event venue during road closure period will need to keep parking in the venue until 11am. All vehicle can only leave the event venue after the road closure period is over.
  1.2 Participants are advised to undertake adequate training before the event.
  1.3 Participants are advised to consult medical advice from doctors if they are in doubt of their health condition prior to taking part in the race.
  1.4 No pets are allowed.
  1.5 To ensure the race progress smoothly plus to recover Tai Au Mun Road back to normal traffic at 10am; organizer will designate Cut-Off Times at specified locations. Runners failing to reach these specific locations within times specified must stop their race and board the Official Buses when requested by Route Officials and Marshals. The buses will take these runners back to the Finish Point.
2. Registration, Collection of Number Cloths, Timing Chips, Baggage Deposit
  2.1 For Runners : BIB no. will be issued to runners at Registration Counter on day of event. 
  2.2 The race is timed by a micro chip which installed at the back of the BIB cloth, please do not fold the chip.
  2.3 Service hour of Registration Counter is 07:30-08:15
  2.4 Service hour of Baggage Deposit Counter is 07:30-08:30 and 10:00-11:00
  2.5 For Walkers : NO BIB no. will be issued. Please queue at waiting zone.
3. Terms & Conditions
  3.1 The Organizer reserves the right to restrict and refuse entries without reason.
  3.2 The Organizer reserves the right to close entries before deadline without notice
when the quota is full.
  3.3 The Organizer reserves the right to contact the participants by phone for further information relating to this event.
  3.4 The Organizer reserves the right to utilize participants' information, appearance, name, voice, bio-data and likeness with the Event in any and all media throughout the world in perpetuity. 
  3.5 Donations are non-refundable. 
  3.6 Should the event be cancelled due to unforeseeable circumstances, donations
are non-refundable. 
  3.7 Any participant who is pregnant or suffering from any chronic disease such as
heart disease or high blood pressure should not participate in the event. The
Organizer reserves the right to reject any participant who is known or suspected to be physically unfit to participate in the event.
  3.8 The Organizer will only provide third party insurance. Participants will therefore be responsible for their own risks and liabilities. The Organizer suggests participants must ensure their physical conditions are suitable for participating in the event before their registration. If participants are in doubt of their health conditions, please seek medical advice before participating.
  3.9 All participants must ensure that they are physically fit to participate in the race.
  3.10 All participants must follow the instruction of the Route Officials en route.
4. Official Rules
  4.1 If there is any dispute regarding the results, the organizer reserves the right not to accept any dispute or appeal. A professional judge will be invited to assist regarding this.
  4.2 If a participant is found providing false personal information, organizer reserves the right to disqualify the participant from the competition.
  4.3 Runners who do not start in the designated time will be disqualified.
  4.4 Participants should understand that by participating in the Event there are risks of injury, death and/or loss. Participants are entering this event entirely at their own risk and responsibility. The Organizers have no liabilities on participants’ injury, death or loss of property incurred during, as consequence of or while traveling to or from the event.
  4.5 Lifeline Express Hong Kong Foundation reserves the right to amend and interpret the above rules. All participants must abide by the terms and conditions.
